Its uniquely small compact size and the fact it is from India makes it a special tool. It has a history that helped force change in India during the rule of the British empire. Ideal for spinning short staple fibers such as cotton or lamb's fine wool into fine yarns. Excellent for spinning colored cottons which are short fibered.
